Update from Hayley, Sophie and Ruth

Hey fahm, its Hayley, Sophie and Ruth!  This is day 6 of our missions trip.  Today we had our second day of VBS.  Hayley and Sophie went to Balibrea (a community in Honduras), also Ruth cleaned, sorted and carried about a thousand books for the library.

Hey, it's Hayley!  So today was our second day of shipwrecked VBS, it was a boatload of fun 😂. I have been working with the yellow group which is the grade 1's & 2's, Sophie and Ruth are working in the purple group (the youngest group).  We love working with the kids cause they are so full of energy and super fun to be around.  Sophie and I (with Nathan G) taught the bible verse today to the whole VBS team, it was, "The Lord will come to the rescue, each time!"(Psalms 34:19).  It was really cool seeing the kids come up to the front and say the verse because a majority of them only speak Spanish.  Overall, it was a pretty awesome second day of camp.

Hello, it's Sophie!  Today after VBS, Hayley and I went with a group (with Roger, Janine, Dauna, Mikayla, and Julian) to Balibrea, a community fifteen minutes away from the school we are staying at.  We finished most of the painting Ruth's group started yesterday, but I think we got more paint on ourselves than on the wall!  Then we got our care packages that we had put together, which include toiletries, clothes, food, and toys etc.  We brought them to five different family's homes in the town. We went to two different houses, three families lived in the first house, and two in the other.  They were very thankful and it was an amazing experience for us all.

Hola amigos, its Ruth!  Today I stayed back at the school with the rest of the team and did work projects.  I was assigned to move boxes of books so they can be cleaned for the library.  However I was reassigned to dust of the books with a somewhat wet cloth becauses "apparently" i was too weak to keep carrying the boxes 😭.  Then unexpectedly it started pouring rain, so we had to run and move the books and tables.  Afterward, we played card games and listened to music, it was a lit time.

Today was an amazing day for all of us.  It was very productive and super fun at the same time.  We hope tomorrow will be just as fun or even better!  We want to thank you for all your financial and prayer support and we would love it if you can keep on sending your prayers our way fahm 👍.

Peace out from Siguatepeque!
